Ghost Hunt at the Transport Museum, Greater Manchester – 5 September 2026

If you appreciate history and have a curiosity for the unexplained, this event brings both together under one roof. The Transport Museum, Greater Manchester (MOTGM) is housed in a former bus depot on Boyle Street, Cheetham, and is known not only for its transport heritage but also for long-standing reports of paranormal activity.

This is a venue with real character. Its working past, combined with decades of stories from staff and visitors, makes it an ideal location for a serious overnight investigation.

Why Visit the Transport Museum?

The museum holds an impressive collection of transport history, from 19th-century horse-drawn buses to modern Metrolink trams. It is run by dedicated volunteers from the Greater Manchester Transport Society (GMTS) in partnership with Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM). By day, it preserves local history. By night, it becomes a setting for unexplained experiences that continue to intrigue investigators.
