When are the MTV EMAs 2024?

The MTV EMA 2024 takes place this weekend in Manchester for the first time ever. Each year MTV hosts a huge awards ceremony to celebrate and recognise global music talent and is presented by Paramount International Networks.

Chart-topping international superstar Rita Ora is hosting the MTV EMA 2024 at Manchester Co-op Live, her third year as host.

This year at the MTV EMAs there are 18 categories and members of the public have been voting for free to choose this year’s winners. Nominees include Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, Charli xcx, Beyonce, Benson Boone, Ariana Grande, Eminem plus many more iconic names.

MTV has announced an eclectic mix of performers for the awards ceremony including award-winning singer-songwriter RAYE, Beautiful Things singer Benson Boone and Lose Control singer Teddy Swims.

This year’s MTV EMAs will also see an array of talented presenters hand out awards. The presents include film star and rumoured James Bond Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emily in Paris’ Lucien Laviscount as well as actor Jodie Turner-Smith who is known for roles in The Last Ship and Anne Boleyn.

When are the EMAs?

The 2024 EMAs kick off on Sunday 10 November at 9pm at Manchester’s Co-Op Live Arena.

How to watch MTV EMA 2024

The MTV EMA 2024 will be broadcast live at 9pm on MTV UK, Channel 5, Pluto TV and will be available to watch on demand on Paramount+ from 12 November.
