With the winter season coming up you might be wondering how to support your immune system to make you more resistant to those winter bugs?
Did you know that your food and lifestyle choices have a direct impact on immune health? You might immediately think of vitamin C or zinc, but 21 days of a diet low in vitamin B6 in one study of healthy older participants saw a decrease in the number of circulating white blood cells, important for immune defense.
My name’s Bee and I’m passionate about empowering people to take control of their own health. As part of that, I am now working with Food Sorcery to offer a series of workshops to enable you to do just that.
“Supporting Natural Immunity”, running 10:00-13:00 on Saturday 28th January in Didsbury, Manchester, is the second in the series and is ideal for you if you would like to take control of your own immune health and let go of any fear around illness or disease. There are limited spots, so make sure you grab yourself a ticket before they are all gone and learn how to support your immune system and keep yourself healthier this winter.
Here’s what you’ll get:
- Learn the difference between the germ theory and the terrain theory in relation to your immune system
- Key nutrients for immune health and which foods to find them in
- Learn how stress affects the immune system and the food and lifestyle choices that impact stress
- Learn about the importance of hydration for stress resilience and detoxification and how to achieve it through foods as well as drinks
- Show and taste of hydrating foods and drinks
What previous course participants have said:
“Beth is a natural and down to earth, she is knowledgeable about alternative directions you can take with your health. Also her own personal experience of doing it herself gives her insight and understanding of challenges faced in investing in your health. I recommend her.”
My name is Bee. When I was 24 I developed a neurological condition which left me virtually bedridden for almost 8 years with debilitating chronic fatigue and gut issues. I saw numerous “experts”, yet no solution. I felt confused with the quagmire of conflicting information on the internet about how to eat for better health.
So I turned to naturopathic nutritional therapy, got my life back, trained for five years as a naturopathic nutritionist and have been practicing since 2015, now running HealthyBe Naturopathy, a busy online clinic, where I am passionate about supporting other women to get their guts right, feel like their old selves again too and, in most cases, to feel even better than before!
I work using a “functional medicine” model, which helps us understand the root causes of symptoms, then I create bespoke nutrition and lifestyle plans to address those causes.
Early bird pricing of £70.00 per ticket expires midnight on the 14th January 2023. Ticket price £75.00 after 00:00 on the 14th.
