Kintsugi Craft Workshop for Beginners

Discover the ancient art of Kintsugi with Amelia in a fun and creative way. Kintsugi, which literally translates as ‘golden joinery’, celebrates the Japanese philosophy of the beauty of imperfection.

In this beginners workshop you will:

  • be given your own toolbox which will contain all the materials and items you need for this workshop.
  • learn step-by-step how to safely break pottery and to repair it with gold, thereby embracing the cracks to make unique pieces of art.
  • make two finished Kintsugi pieces to take home which make beautiful mementoes of the day and can be used as ornaments or gifts.
